Problem with these compressors is heat. Do only one maybe two tires at a time and let it cool. Unless the tire is completely flat then one and let it rest. Even though it's three times this price I went with one with a built in fan for this reason.
Which one do you recommend?

Just know what youre getting and don't push it. Its mean to reinflate a tire at a time, let it cool down in between and if the tire is really flat i'd fill halfway and let it cool down.

If you go cheap - take it easy on the item.

So, if all you want to do is buy this for inflating toys, probably okay.
If you're going to rely on this if you have a flat tire, you're probably going to have a bad time.

If you hook it up w/o pumping will it tell you the current pressure? Otherwise i'd have to buy another meter.

Im in for one for dual sporting purposes, thanks OP

It looks like this pump draws 10-15amps during use, which can be enough to blow a fuse on many vehicles cig lighter plug circuits. Might want to check on the outlet max you intend to use Smilie

Thanks OP!

I have the yellow version of this (got it for $29.96), so this is a STEAL. Now I can have one in each car.

Are you referring to model VL701 ( yellow) version? Amazon says it's the newer version.
yellow VL701 = first gen
this VL721 = 3rd gen

Apparently there's a VacLife 4th gen redesign that's about $20, and in the following thread are some recs on more reliable products:

I have the exactly same one. The LCD screen is very dim. Very difficult to read. I didn't return it because the seller gave me $5 amazon credit after I left a review , which brought down the price to about $4, so never trust the reviews on amazon.

Nothing says happy mother's day like a small cigarette-lighter powered inflator.

I love the Mother's Day pic. Perfect gift when most of the females in my family don't even have their drivers license.
