Lately? Razer has had QC problems since I've known about them which is the last 12 years. It says something when your competitors offer a three year warranty and you only offer two and then making it a pita to go through the RMA process.

Have the ultra. Shouldn't be much difference other than the haptic feedback. At first I thought the mic sucks but when disable my Webcam, it then it worked great. That was my only complaint about it.

They're way more comfortable than the HS70s I had before but they're not as good in the sound department
I feel the HS70 was clearer and more accurate with a lot less bass

These sound like +5 bass on everything lol
Just keep that In mind
Otherwise no issues and I was very happy with these before i moved up to the ultimate

This is actually a solid deal. I know it's fashionable to hate on Razer, but my Nari Ultimate has been used every day for over a year and a half without issues.

I have this headset as well. Audio quality is fine, but I do get the occasional cutouts due to a wifi access point being rather close to my PC. The mic is fine, side tone is too low in my opinion and I dislike how Razer advises to turn up windows audio level to the max and to use the volume control on the headset to manage volume.

Had it as well, while i would say my warranty replacement one was fine, i feel the quality was not $200. Next headset when it dies is definitely a G935

I'm in the camp, bought it last year, overall not bad and I personally have not had issues from people not being able to hear me. I wish it did have controls so I can mute the mic, but so far so good. I'd buy again for $60.

Razer has done an absolute 180 on quality control. It feels like the quality of their products gets worse and worse and worse every year but the price continues to increase. Almost as if they tried to decrease spending of their products while increasing the price in order to double their profits. They are depending on the clueless gamer to buy this crap solely based on their name alone. IMO Razer needs to DESPERATELY a overhaul their products for the better, otherwise they will fade out. I mean, look at any company that just shoveled out useless crap tech/video games while marking up the price. It NEVER ended well for them. RAZER, IF YOU WANT TO STAY A COMPETITOR IN THIS MARKET, STOP MAKING ABSOLUTE JUNK!
