I've had this unit for a little over a month and love it, SUPER quiet on lowest setting so use it as a sleep fan. Hell, I may even get a back up additional unit.

I just got back from Niles -- a huge stock of these available there.

Bought the fan bc of many good reviews. Had it for 2 weeks and gonna return it. This fan is portable but so loud. I can't even fall asleep with the slowest setting. Not sure why people are saying it's quiet...you guys must be deaf or something lol jk ...but seriously tho...it's too damn loud for me. The price is good. My warehouse had a bunch in stock and I wondered why when I bought it that day...now I know why....hahaha! The people in my area are smart...lol they warned me by letting me see they have so much in stock! Bc nobody wants it πŸ˜‚

No, you're just bad luck and got a bad one. πŸ˜€ We bought 3 of these and they are all whisper quiet on the lowest 2 settings. Exchange it when you feel lucky.

Interesting.. I like efficiency but I'm not that OCD about it.

These are awesome little fans for the money.

If you are going to run it 24/7 then consider something more efficient... but I use this at level 3 and usually maybe only 2 or 3 hours/day. So... at 32 watts for 3 hours a day, I can use it for over 10 days for about 11 cents... I guess that's a little over 1 penny a day or a little over $3.65 per year if I used it year round, but probably only use it 6 months out of the year at best, making it about $1.83/year... or double it if you want to account for the heat which brings it back up to $3.65/year.

UPDATE: Oh hell, well if this little Vornado is only $42.50 then it makes a lot of sense to spend a little more money especially if you run it a lot......

but that $42.50 may not be at 4w like his review. is it dc abd brushless? i am in doubt that this medium setting is at 4w. lowest is 4w. yes. which is really helpful as a fan anyway. but definitely not at medium.

I don't know about the wattage but it is DC and brushless according to the product info.

I'm pretty sure this sale ended yesterday 5/09/21. Dunno if stores carryover sales if they have an abundance of stock.

These fans are overrated. I hated my purchase of 3 fans at the same time. Small fans. My son says multi directional is junk.

My local Costco today had a ton of the Woozoos on an island at the front of the store, and the in-store price was back down to $24.99.
