This monitor is equal to the lowest it has been at any point on Amazon. Dell has had it on sale at 295.99 -10% one time coupon. on Dec 31 2020. Normal price is $499, down to $349.99. I'm posting this deal because I found this monitor fit a spot in utility that did not compare to other office monitors. This is a 4k, 32in, 350nits, 60hz, curved VA (decent viewing angles), low backlight bleed, Picture in Picture, productivity monitor. Also decent for games that don't rely on motion, and also has a good movie viewing experience. Basically if you are looking for an office monitor (and probably already own a gaming monitor), then at the same price as the comparable Gigabyte 32in 1440p G32QC [amazon.com] gaming monitor (which I already own), it instead has a 4k office user experience. It also has ultra-crisp 9.5/10 font rating from RTings, and it has no risk of burn in. Just ordered three of these, and can provide further review next week if anyone needs it.

As a side note if you are a student, military member, etc. and are eligible for the Dell Member Purchase program, then you can get an additional 10% off from this slickdeals link.

And as always if you have an amazon prime account, and an amazon credit card, it's 5% rewards point (cash back) through Amazon.

Screen Size: 32 Inches

User Update after two weeks of ownership: This is a follow up response for anyone reading this forum. All three boxes arrived from Amazon on time. Two of the boxes were scuffed on the outside, the third was in excellent condition. The interior was a-okay. The stands for the monitors are a bit of an oddity, extremely heavy, but decent overall. When I plugged in the monitors originally, two with hdmi cables, and the third with a display port cable. At first I thought the two hdmi monitors had back light bleed, but then I configured them with display port cable, I think you MUST run these monitors with either a very good hdmi cable, or display port cables, luckily my graphics card supported all three, and funny enough my 55in oled has no issues with just an hdmi connection. I'm happy to say that there is NO backlight bleed when using the display port cables, and a 3070 graphics card supports all three monitors in 4k and the oled in 4k. These monitors do cap out at 60hz, they are CLEARLY not OLED panels (can't do better than 100% black on OLED and colors are noticeably less rich), BUT for my intended use of office monitors they are SMOKING. I'm very happy with my purchase overall. For 95%+ of games they are phenomenal, still not as excellent as the 32in gigabyte monitor (it's 160hz 1440p), but for the price these are staying in my setup for many years. Thanks. For anyone on the fence about the matted screens try them with the Display Port cable.. I'm sure that's everyone's issue. The cables were $5 a piece including shipping. OLED have a risk of burn-in.. so this was my alternative.

Edit: For reference, if NOTHING is on the screen and the room is completely dark, I did notice a tiny bit of backlight bleed.

It's been this price off an on for months now direct from Dell, but it's a great monitor and well worth the price. I bought one in December for $265 (took 2 months to arrive!) It's great enough I just bought another one from Dell last week at this price. I have a budget 75 Hz 1440p monitor I'd been using for gaming, but honestly this performs better.

If you want more reviews, there's tons of comments on it on this Slick Deal https://slickdeals.net/f/14960336-32-dell-s3221qs-curved-4k-uhd-freesync-60hz-va-monitor-349-99-or-314-99-after-coupon-free-shipping-at-dell?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

Although VA can be good too depending on the particular screen as well as your use case, this particular VA panel is quite meh. Its 4K but the text isnt sharp probably due to a subpar subpixel layout that bad VAs so often have. The viewing angles are also quite horrible and edges look very different even when viewing straight on.

I have used other VAs that are good for their purposes. The dell s3220gdf is around the same price and is also 32". BUT its 1440p and 165hz instead of 4k@60hz. That one has WAY better viewing angles. The screen on that looks much more uniform. The contrast is better than an IPS and for games I found it very good. There is some smearing but even in games like Valorant it wasnt that bad. Maybe darker competitive FPS like tarkov feel bad. Even for work (programming) it was quite decent (the only downside being 1440p@32" is not sharp if you sit close). Other VAs like odyssey g7 are also amazing in their own niche.

So i wouldnt dismiss a monitor for simply being VA instead of IPS. In many cases VA is even better. Id prefer the odyssey g7 over any IPS (i have uses the asus 280hz one too) for gaming due to higher contrast and good enough speed too.

BUT this particular VA panel is not great. I returned this and got the s2721qs which is nearly the same: same price same resolution and Hz. But it is 27" and IPS. And for work it is WAY better (i use 0 scaling on either but that may affect the experience).

34 wide? I prefer two 16:10 24 inch over a single 34 inch wide for coding and excel. 34 wide is a bit too short vertically and not wide enough for two window side by side.

My current 34 from Dell is set to have a 16:10 window on the left as the main window and a 2:3 window on the right as the secondary. Works perfect for my small office/desk. Would have gone duo-screen if I have a bigger desk.

Warning: Brightness is only 300 cd/m², so not good for a room with windows.
