Not likely. It said value up to $79.99. Most, if not all, brushless tools are $99 or above.

Any reason in particular you don't like it? I'm guessing it's the lack of pressure?

I'm looking to pick one up for cleaning yard furniture and other light duty cleaning.
I have it and it's fine for washing off patio furniture and cleaning your car. That's about it though. I tried using it on vinyl siding and it didn't do much. I've also used it on my deck and you have to get about an inch away to achieve any results there.

I think I got it with the free battery and ended up paying $45 for it. I think for that price it's worth it but not much more. You might as well get one of those small pressure washers. Like others have mentioned though, it is also great if you are not near a hose as it comes with a siphon hose you can throw in a 5 gallon bucket. Extremely valuable to those with boats.

Was last years Ryobi days deal hackable? I have no use for more batteries especially non-HP ones but there's a few tools I'd love to pick up at a reduced rate.

I got the 5.5" circ saw with their 6 tool combo kit but it barely cuts a 2x4 cleanly. Wish they had a 7.25" so blades would be interchangeable with my corded saw. Either going to get the 6.5" or battery since I have pretty much all those tools already. I wonder what size battery is in that ad.
They do have a brushless 7-1/4" circ saw, I have one and it works good. Not like a corded Mikita, but cuts 2x4s with ease, and rips plywood nicely. As with 99% of all tools though, upgrade the blade right out of the box. I have the brushless P508 and it works good, but they also have a new PBLCS300 7-1/4" brushless HP saw out now that should be a tad bit more powerful. I haven't needed any more power, but I don't cut more than a few boards here and there with it. My weapons of choice are the brushless 1/4" impact, and the brushless reciprocating saw. Those two get tons of use from me.

What are you doing that brushless is required? Legit curious
Off the cuff, a hammer drill, circular saw, angle grinder and reciprocating saw all provide tangible power benefits to even the rare DIYer. There's also the matter of better battery life and, theoretically, longer tool life.

I have a 15 old blue plastic Ryobi circular saw. It could barely cut paper. Last summer, just for kicks and grins, I put a Diablo blade on it. Holy cow… suddenly it could cut through anything. The blade was the problem all along.

I need a lawn mower
Direct tools outlet has the 13 inch new this season Ryobi lawn mower for 153 after 15% off.. it comes with one 4ah battery that should get you 15 to 30 minutes runtime. Pair this with that and sell the tool you don't need and you are all set. I would recommend using the tool, but costs will be higher of course.

Overrated unless you have old brushless tools. New brushless has a 'chip' that determines if it can pull more power from the battery and just does it. Example the new 16inch brushless lawn mower comes with these batteries and when asked Ryobi reps confirmed the tool will not get more power if you use HP batteries. The main advantage of the HP is old brushless, the thinner profile, and less weight.

I did the 3ah deal twice a couple years back and don't want that again. I want the extra AH for longer runtime using the new brushless 18v outdoor line.

I was looking at the angle grinder but gave up. Too many reviews about shorter battery life and a friction override kicking in too soon. I am all for the better efficiency, but the brushless tools really seem to get a shorter battery life instead of similar to non brushless plus the better power. If you are fine with the shorter battery life to trade for more power that's great, but it is more of a hindrance depending on how you use the tool and what the tool is designed for.

For example some of their outdoor line you will probably be running the tool at least some of the time while doing nothing. You can't really line up your cut then run the tool and have it be accurate. You will run the tool then make your cut to increase accuracy. Looking at string trimmer, hedge trimmer, and even the angle grinder here. It's not a big deal until you have a shorter battery life and turns out 10% of your use time is burnt up from that. The big thing that made this apparent for me was the new brushless 18v lawn mower. The older brushed model gets more run time side by side on a 4AH battery while cutting nothing. It's not good to stop start your motor often so the normal habit is to keep running while you turn or move over a short path with no grass. When people can get as little as 12 minutes off a 4AH you realize how much you waste while cutting nothing.
