The only offer for me is 50mbit for $69.99 or local TV + 100mb for $65, both on contract. I'm currently on 100mbit for $49. I could even cancel and sign-up on a new name for less. These offers are straight-up scams.
Every year I call to 'cancel' and ask for the same deal again. This is what it looks like when you have no competition.

This was for San Jose. I have a relative in San Francisco and checked her account. She didn't have that offer. But they're giving her 50 Mbps for $40/month flat rate with no promotion, so that's good enough for her for a single studio apartment.
After reconnection, I see 475 download and 12 upload.
I was okay with 100/6 which was ending in June first week.
however (this should be illegal) when I got my first bill I noticed it was for $110. Comcast/Xfinity tacked on 40 bucks of fees and some tax to my plan. Although the $70 is a fixed price their fees increase every year. Not 100% if the same fees apply to internet only plans but be careful.
for $40 of Xfinity monthly fees I could get Disney+, Netflix and Discovery+ Every month instead. :/
