New price on This TV is now $2949.99! As they try to clear out inventory price should continue to drop. Best Buy and Amazon have matched.

From the pictures it looks like the CX buldges at the bottom and the mount has long vertical parts that are supposed to go onto the back of the tv. Would I need to get a GX for this mount to work because the back is flat or would the CX work as well. I'm having a hard time visualizing how it would go on the back of the CX.

Great. I'm happy you got that fantastic deal also!! I've purchased about 10 TVs from Video Only over the last 20 years. They are a quirky bunch of good guys. And they will give you a great deal.... if you know how to deal with them.

That mount should be fine. I always go by Vesa measurements, and the weight of the TV without a stand. The TV weighs ~ 60lbs without the stand. The Vesa measurements according to the LG site are 400 x 200. Remember that the Vesa mount points are near the bottom of the TV. Something to keep in mind when mounting the TV.

One of the Portland area stores. Yes the $2999 was the price after $800 credit for recyclable trade in. This particular store said that they even had a spare trade in tv on hand in case I couldn't provide one. Can't have the tv delivered for another week and they are happy to hang on to it until then. Tremendous customer service. $2999 out of pocket with 5 year warranty..
