I find that hard to believe because the 970 evo is the fastest when it comes to everything, not just raw write speeds which by the way have nothing to do with loading your operating system or programs or opening up files. It's those IOPS and smaller files that what matters. And sometimes NVMe drives are slower than sata drives when it comes to this. Can anyone speak if this is responsive or a typical nvme that's fast one way but slow other ways?
Believe it.

It's unfortunate that these don't come in a size larger than 1TB.

I'll give it a shot. I just got a new ryzen setup and need to fill one of the many m.2 slots. I feel overwhelmed by all the m.2 ssds out there and it's hard to find one that's good. The big thing for me is I prefer drives that are fast with the small files. I have SSDs that are "fast" but are so slow at loading everything up. So frustrating. But on paper and according to benchmarks they are fast. I prefer real world fast.

So I'll be the judge of this. Nice thing is it's Amazon and if there's an issue they're good at taking care of it

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/42874738 That is my actual benchmark. Ignore the rest of my system, I have a few computers pieced together right now and my GPU isn't In that computer. It's shows full info on my drive (edited for grammar)

Bro im not even talking about the evo. Even the Evo Plus is slower. And yes I know how ssd and nvme works. Im stating the raw R/W so its easier for ppl to compare, and mainly ppl who don't have time or knowledge to figure it out. But the P31 is faster in every aspect on paper and in my benchmarks. Maybe in real life there is not much of a difference. But you have to consider the the Evo Plus is more expensive. It sounds like you don't know what you are talking about tbh
