Anyone having concerns, just don't buy. Preheat your grill, get a red or white onion, cut it in half, scrape the grill with some gusto. Boom!!! Clean grill, ready and seasoned for the meats.

I tried bunch of other "alphabet soup" no-brand Chinese junk s9milar brushes. They all work the same way. The Britney break, the handles split in 2, and the brush neck bends with the lightest push. I bought them from AWD before for $3-5 a pop and they not even worth a dollar. Looks like this is a shill post and needs to be treated as such

Queue the, "ZOMG wire bristles can break off and get lodged in your stomach!" comments.

It is a valid concern, though.

NEVER use wire brushes guys. Bristles can dislodge and get into food which can then become embedded in/penetrate your bowel causing all sorts of issues, some life threatening. As a physician, I've seen a few of these

deal score of +22, with a single comment(even though there are now a few), and a code of mystery origin. im sure this was posted for payment, so shame on user chengiew, and everyone that thumbed it up for payment...

that said, i really do need one of these, so i might have to bite anyways.
He has quite the interesting profile. Lots of rep for a single posted comment

Lol bristles really do break off and get lodged in mucous membrane which could cause cancer depending on what whack ass lead material the manufacturer used. They sell a grill scraper that is bristle free and not made of wood it works better and I don't have to worry about metal splinters in the back of my esophagus.

Don't use these. I was just telling my stepdad the other day about the bristles getting lodged in people's stomachs.

Grill brush isn't something you want to cheap out on unless you enjoy eating tiny wire bristles. Get a good quality one instead

so... rando question with the concerns of the wire things. are the wires sticking to the grill surface where you put food on? Are they like flakes of wire? or like the entire wire comes off?

Spend a little more and get something decent that will do a better job, last a lot longer....and be safer.

Just another SD shill......
