Also available from Tracfone Wireless via eBay [ebay.com] for $69.99

Be careful. The link to this on the front page article is actually to the Moto E6 for $59.99. Use the link here and the "INSTANT20" coupon to save 20% from Tracfone on ebay.

When you need more minutes/texts/data, instead of bying another package plan, at the very bottom of the "Buy Airtime" page are options to buy only what you're low on: 500 minutes for $10, 1000 texts for $5, or 1GB for $10

It shows the blue Tracfone splash at startup so best you cover it carefully or you will be outed. Actually it's likely to be a asset as women prefer men who are smart with money.
Personally, I would say those are minor problems. The main issue I have with Tracfone android phones is that they are normally loaded with tons of Tracfone bloats. Some of them are not even removable without using tools like adb...

Though, for people who don't care about those issues, their phone bundles typically offer very good values.

Perfect. My use case scenario is to turn this into an Emulator device plus occasional GPS tracking in my car. Smilie

This isn't a bad price for just the data and year of service. Activate the LG and then transfer to this new Moto E to get 2 years of service. After 12 months, you can unlock the Moto which will boost resale value.
If you transfer and not use the LG, then you can't unlock the LG.

Of course. All Tracfones are locked to Tracfone for 12 months, read the info in first post.
You expected 12 months of service & an unlocked phone for this price?
You need to use original sim in phone it came with to unlock phone, if you switch it out phone will be unlockable.
Plenty of info on how Tracfone works is available in lots of SD threads or from Tracfone website.

Not many deals like this on Android 10 phones. Bought and repped. Thanks OP

But what I really need is a phone-only GSM deal, Android 10 or iPhone. Any deal like that floating around?

Keep eyes open for good TF deals coming. With TF planning to sell to Verizon at end of year they're trying to get their user numbers up beforehand.

Do you know if you activate a new phone and transfer over an existing TF phone number, airtime, date, do you still get Add-A-Line bonus points on TF Rewards?

Think it's supposed to be a new line. The last 2 I did were new numbers just for bonus points (used cheap eBay sims) & I'm still waiting for points to apply so I can merge.

Got it. If I get a new line to make sure I get the bonus points, then I can transfer over old phone's airtime to the new number, correct?

Not an expert on these rewards points. Have done so many deals in past I haven't really kept up since I didn't need more. Have to start merging a few.

Ignoring the Reward points, you can merge two current TF numbers into one of them easily after activation (not during), right?
