terro ant bait is literally just borax
mix some borax, sugar and water together and you have this but much, much cheaper

Borax can be found in the laundry detergent aisle (65 ounce is $4.47 at walmart)
This shhh works. 🐜🐜🐜🐜 are slowing being eliminated

This used to work well but they must have changed the formulation a few years ago. Last year these were absolutely worthless. Switched to optigard ant and the ants disappear after a few days.

One teaspoon boric acid to 4 tablespoons powdered sugar mix into a cup of warm water. Then take water bottles then cut a hole in the top and fill them up below the hole. Set them alongside fences and under your house keep filling them up don't let them dry up

This works had a sudden kitchen ants invasion. Put this out and they looked gone after 2 days or so. Had to use only one bait trap.

This is the only product works for my ghost ants but only for 1-3 days. The ants then change to a new route and bait turns useless. Tried optigard and that didn't work for me.

Can confirm works. Got rid of my ant problem. Left the traps out until the liquid dried up and haven't had any ants come back yet.

You say 1 tsp boric acid, is that the same as 1 tsp of Borax?

I'm trying to visualize exactly what you're re doing with the water bottles...how much solution are you putting in each bottle?

And you say cut a hole in top...top of the bottle or cap? Thanks 😊

Had a nice trail of ants straight into the pancake syrup yesterday. I read boric acid works better than Borax. Boric acid is sold as an insecticide in plastic bottle with a tip like a mustard bottle. It's less than $4. Mix it with corn syrup, pancake syrup, honey, etc.

I agree with others, this stuff works. Also saves time from trying to mix your own and get containers to put it in that won't be slopped around by any animals or little ones or big ones. I normally pick them up at Wally World for the same price but nice to know I can order online with prime for the same price!
