I have this. Even though its not advertised as a feature, this one gives enemas and appears to want to compete with my 3200psig pressure washer.

After many years of being told it's superior, it's finally time to try a Bidet.

I've never used a bidet and wondered about them for decades.
Does it involve taking water and shooting it where you need to wipe
whereupon those fluids have to come back down somewhere, some into the water
and some, perhaps to the very jet where they were shot out of, whereupon the
next user will be treated to remnants of the previous user's fecal matter?.
This is what I am envisioning. Does it, in fact, not work this way?
None of it splashes back on the nozzle. It just kind of dribbles once it hits you. The nozzles also have a cleaning function where water flushes through and around the nozzle without spraying. I have a bidet and I would never ever go back.

Seriously. I see a jet that is hovering over the floor. How the heck does that work?

Can't quite understand why you'd want to 'get used to it' when having nice warm water is not a lot more money. I think warm water cleans better, too. For instance, do you wash your dishes in cold water? If you're gonna bring up cold water washing machines... I don't have an answer!! ;-)
I do understand that not everyone has their plumbing (hot & cold water lines) in a convenient place, tho.
The warm water on the slightly more expensive units make the installation quite a bit harder, typically at a toilet you have cold water plumbed and nothing else.

1.You will have to plumb to a hot water connection which is not always nearby the toilet location.

2. Hot water is not instant, sort of like turning on the faucet or shower and having to wait a minute or so for hot water to start to show up.
a. This can be worked around if this unit has a bowl wash feature which shoots water down instead of at you. Simple turn that on for a bit until hot water bleed through then redirect it at the tush. Not something you may remember to do each time.

Like other have mentioned the cold water is really not as bad as some people make it out to be. If you really want the warm water, get one of the electric units that warms the water in the unit. Most of those will even blow you dry afterwards, but they come at quite a bit more of a cost.

For the enema factor, not sure what is included in this kit, but I tend to turn the water pressure down with a water valve to prevent that sort of issues from happening as much.

Problem with a lot of these is the flimsy plastic material that easily snap or break under your weight. They should also provide toilet seat wedges so they can be placed under the seat to alleviate the weight from the seat or keep it from sitting on top of the bidet. The bidet still works but it's annoying for the flat body to be cracking all the time. Same goes for the part where you slide the seat mounting bolts through. I'm the heaviest in the household at 155 lbs and they crack under my weight.

You are absolutely right-- cleaning is achieved through the breaking of bonds via agitation and I totally agree that hot water will do this much better than cold water. Like you said though, some of us unfortunately don't have water closets that have hot water running to them, nor electricity for plug-in models. I have one of these cheapy cold-only ones for that reason, and I'd liken them to a pressure washer more than a washing machine.

I just bought one of these last week for $35. It looks like the deal is already sold out.

If you pay just a little more (maybe $50 more), get one that mixes cold with hot water. When your bum doesn't get a blast of COLD water, you'll thank me. I've had a Bio Bidet for well over 10 years - they're great. I think mine was $60 back then.

I'm not a fan of these manual bidets. Even on the lowest setting, there's way too much pressure. You also can't adjust the position of the nozzle. The other big downside is that there's no automatic shutoff like the electric ones. So if you have small kids and they don't turn it off all the way, it acts like a water fountain and sprays water all over the floor. I found out the hard way.

After that incident, I added a GCFI outlet and installed an electric bidet.

Already OOS.

Oh well, until a similar deal comes up next time, maybe I will adopt a bidet at that time... 5 years already went by...

I JUST installed this (as I await the repair of my BB-600 [housing was cracked all to hell. Not like it was abused either *shrug*])

DEFINITELY glad I ordered/installed the T-valve (aside from the ability to repair+ w/o completely tearing down the setup). Was able to barely turn on the flow & can use the 1st tush-click w/o giving myself a low-colonic.

Nice little unit though, especially for the $$ (and now saving myself some cash)
any recommendation on a replacement t-valve?
