In your link for the bits, there is the DEWALT Drill Bit Set, Titanium, 14-Piece (DW1354) set [amazon.com] for $16.06 that is not a bad price with the case.... same price at Home Depot.

Yeah, I think the 192 set is a much better value. This set has a bunch of bit drivers in it, vs the 192. If I'm lugging a case this heavy around, I'd rather have it be single purpose, and that purpose would be sockets and wrenches.

Hauling this around for bits is ridiculous considering they have the packs (like linked) that are far easier to move around, and you'll be carrying other stuff anyways (drill driver most likely).

These dewalt hex bit kits aren't worth an hours wage in my opinion. Hell these tools aren't worth a days wage at full price I.m.o. Better out there for less than 250 or whatever dewalt claim they get out of this kit.🤣

So I got the 205-piece, but every time I pick up the box, some sockets fall of their place and move around. Always a mess when open it again.

The 192 pc set is much larger and much heavier... like 35lbs or so. All six point, I would also like the same set in 12 point for an almost complete set of sockets in three drives.

At $89 delivered, yea that 192pc set from FleetFarm (not Farm & Fleet) was a deal.... we can only hope it comes around again.

Construction wise, I and many other others use Kennedy 1022 (22inch) tool boxes with divided tray compartments for all things connected to electrical, such as drill and driver bits.... with one small pouch in tool apron that has various driver bits and another with various drill bits and a few taps commonly used. Homak Industrial [amazon.com] makes one similar, but all the new ones require making your own compartments... the plastic inserts are junk. The 18 inch size is ok for specialty projects, but prefer the 22 inch that can get heavy when filled.

From my experience, you might have better luck if you stand the case on edge, like behind truck seat. If laying flat, the top ones seem to always shake loose. The older sets like from Craftsman had a flat plastic panel that snapped into place to hold everything intact, while also a compartment for storage of other small items. When closed the case itself held the snapped in panel in place.

You would think by now they would have perfected the carry cases.... but no, they seem to be going more the other way. Initially, the sockets and wrenches are difficult to get out and later, they just fall out.

The 205pc over the 192pc set is a trade off for incomplete socket sets for incomplete wrench sets. It might have what you need and might not.

I think the only sockets missing in the 192pc set are the 4.5 and 5.5mm in 1/4" drive, which this set does not appear to have.... among many others. But you do get a few wrenches that are arguably more common than others.

I did carpentry, cabinet making and Installation - not a Deal if you use this stuff, but if you want to *own* a lot of things that SIT, just to have it, go for it. Lowes and Home Depot around Christmas have much better Deals on all the extras. FYI.
