I did pay $5.28 for this in 9/2020. And I've had these in the past even before that. For the price these are friggin awesome.

I've broken the plastic casing on one of the hooks but the internal steel held fine. And I've stretched one beyond the limit to force it over something and half of the internal bands started breaking, but it didn't completely snap and I was able to use it on smaller lighter items for a while longer.

Hooks are nice and open. Band is flat and wide so it sits nicely on cargo. Small features, but ones that make me almost never reach for my regular cords. And length adjustability alone is so so so convenient.

Buying couple more. Thanks OP

I seem to be obsessed with buying these bungee cords and then never using them. After having about 10 of these stashed in my garage for the last 20 years and never using them, I finally was able to use a couple last year and I was so proud of myself. So in summary, I just ordered these, which I'll probably never use.

BTW-The use was to bungee the chairs and table together on my deck so they don't blow over.

I use 'em as suspenders so my pants don't blow off Wink

these are great for dollies. I pull them vertical from the bottom when carrying coolers full of water samples.

TU and repped!

Been procrastinating buying these for a long time to use in my truck. These are pretty useful for smaller/lighter stuff so I don't have to always get the ratchet straps out. I have some rubber straps from Harbor Freight, too, but the bungees stretch a bit more.

So these are nowhere near being able to hold kayaks or something that you would use straps for? They are just glorified bungie I take it?

Check CCC, seems like $5.xx has been the normal price most of the time over past several years with only recently Amazon inflating MSRP to over $20...
