"While a 90-degree CPU does not concern us much with this kind of load, it does come at the expense of some throttling. The CPU scales back from 4.50GHz to just 4.05GHz across all cores during the 10 minute window."

I got a R10 with a 3080 and was not able to apply the 10% sign up coupon. Although if you ask their chat support they can "improve" the price offer on certain configurations to get close.
Also my estimate shipping date was June 7 and I received it 2 weeks after I ordered it in mid April. So I expect the shipping date is overly conservative.
Also the gpu is was a Nvidia reference model. And the ram isn't able to be matched because it's specially made for this configuration and has very poor timings. 3200-20cas

yeah i havent either but who knows with dell or other big brand companies they might cheap out on certain things just to cut cost and increase profit.
I hesitated, then I checked sold listings on Ebay, and it seems the going rate for a 3060Ti (including those pulled from these Alienware machines) is $1,400.
do you plan on mining? if you do can you PM if you get any overheating issues. i got the 3080 from the R12 deal and that overheat so easily compare to my EVGA 3070. end up selling the 3080 on ebay for money back.
cpu-gpu has a good combination on this but you'd still need to add ram-ssd. If its for personal use, gaming, you might need keep looking. I am more thinking about mining so I might buy one if the coupon works.
did you get the r12 with the 3080? if so how is the mining on the 3080? i had the alienware 3080 but sold it due to overheating issues. i know there some pads you can apply/replace to help it cool down a little but i just simply decide to sell it
easy fix.
buy the $2500 computer for the wife and swap out the video cards
FYI, anyone who does manage to get one and wants a slick deal on pads, hit me up. I have some in stock now. I'm waiting for some IRS tax thing to change before I can upload on Amazon to sell, but they are good.
