After long research, I purchased this recently. It has been working great, and pretty happy with it.
Notable Pros for me:
Nice screen, very quiet operation, and good performance with high-watt GPU, and best price performance ratio.
Cons :
very heavy laptop and charger, and also the charge doesn't last more than 1 hour for me when I play without the charger (playing planet crafter). I can leave with these cons as I mostly use it plugged in, and do not carry it around much.

With some minor tweaks you can probably triple the battery life or more.
Unless you are playing a FPS or other "esports" (man I hate that term) game, try turning the refresh rate of the display down.
Likewise, if your game is running without VSYNC try turning it on, or enable a framerate limiter. Running more frames than needed is only really useful to reduce latency in latency sensitive games, but will double or triple your power consumption.
Believe it or not, enabling more aggressive power management can also sometimes boost overall performance, as you are less likely to bump into a thermal throttle.
These should also reduce the amount of active cooling you need, which again, will boost battery life.
