Thanks. Bought! This is their new version with local storage. I was waiting on the KC420WS but will give this a try too.

I am thinking monitoring interior garage, or as a webcam to publish on Wunderground or a worldwide webcam network. Maybe you have a killer view and looking outside is good, but after watching Ex Machina or Invisible Man, I am not interested in Internet enabled video and audio streams inside the home.

Except for the resolution difference.
Looks like this EC70 wins on every other aspect over KC400. Am I missing something?

I am very new to the home camera. Been using Kasa plugs for the past few years and very happy with it.

When I searched for camera, eufy and wayze are always hot topics. What does the Kasa camera do?

Received today. Video quality is pretty great. I don't have a microSD yet, so I cannot yet it to record 24/7 yet. Audio seems good. It's an indoor cam and I am wanting to point it though a window into my backyard, but I am having issues with reflections in the window.

With night vision off, it captures reflections of the room. With night vision on it captures its own reflection and you can't see anything. Will have to find another use, or see if there's a solution.

Try different angles through the window. That's what I did with the Eufy Indoor cam that was $30. I did have to shut off night vision though.

It works great after I shut off night vision and turn off the lights in the room. Very clear and I'm happy with it.
