What a weird comment to make! It's a Full HD 3:2 laptop with an Intel i5, 8GB RAM, SSD, USB C, and a premium build quality. You will absolutely not find this kind of value anywhere else.

same here - ordered both, but the crazy low price is suspiciously similar. Not as convinced that this isn't an intentional way to drive web traffic without having actual stock to deliver. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah have to agree, to me their business model is akin to car lot's where the print ad will have HUGH Numbers, Image, etc but will have an asterisk that denotes in microscopic print (1 only at this price) and you get there only to be told oh we just sold it, but we have others at similar pricing.

I was able to get it from best buy after long conversation.

New to personal laptop - so questions may be obvious for few.

I am picking this up for a 5th grader, had few basic queries if someone can someone guide me
Some basic reviews mention that this should be good for their usage - but in general questions performance and battery.

Considering that
A, Is this something that can last them (5th grader) 3 years or so ?
B. Changes wise :
- 128 GB SSD - is that sufficient or should I start looking for larger one right away !
- should i need to start looking for usb c hub ?
C. Is Windows S (best buy) versus Windows pro (tiger direct) .. which one is better ! Seems like Best buy one underlying one is windows home ! (does it mean we can switch ! )

s mode is a ipad style everything has to come from the store so it is much safter and clean

Somehow, I don't feel comfortable with chrome books in general. Also, wanted to pick up something that will last few years .. hence ended up with a budget of 300 to 450.

For reference : old Laptop lasted for 7 years as family laptop (old school ) :-)

A. This laptop will last a long time.
B. 128GB is more than enough for school use.
C. Windows S can be turned off to load into Windows 10 full.

I know someone said this device is overkill, but you're also getting this device for $350. You won't really find anything else comparable at that price point that doesn't make some major sacrifices.
