I chatted with a representative to enquire about the delay. He told that one refurbished is available at my nearest BestBuy store and asked if I want to pick that up instead. I agreed and he changed it to curbside pickup. I got it this morning and is working great. See if you all can try this before more cancellation emails start hitting.

I tried this now and was told there is no stock anywhere and that they wouldn't even be able to modify this order for pick up.

I keep getting told my estimated delivery date is 6/7 but my auto cancel date is also 6/7. Can anyone else tell me what date they've been told for delivery and their auto cancel date?

Strange! The rep I talked to did it in a couple of minutes and I got an email right away informing that the curbside pickup has been scheduled.

You got very lucky! I just tried this too but my rep said there was no stock available locally.

He confirmed that my order will auto cancel on the 7th if it doesn't ship by then. He said that there was no way to prevent the auto cancellation.

I've been debating about upping my budget and buying one off of eBay. $99 really was the sweet spot for me though :,(

I've also been told my ship date and cancel date coincide (6/9, in my case). This does not bode well :-P

Customer Service: Well, currently this is unavailable at any of the best buy stores near us. In fact you are lucky since you have already placed the order your order has been confirmed and this time surely you will receive it on the estimated date which is 7th of this month

I just contacted CS just for the hell of it and was assured that I would have my order on the 7th. I took a screenshot just to see how far that will get me when it inevitably gets cancelled on the 7th. LOL. Realistically though every order should be honored in some way, if you were able to place an order that means it should have been against existing inventory.

I think they tell you whatever they have to in order to get you off the phone (or chat). I was told last night that my case had been escalated to the "Back End" team who would call or email me within 2 hours. I was told this was the highest priority and after questioning the rep, was assured that they would contact me. Of course no one ever did. It's all lies and bullshit to get you off the phone. The odds of any of us ever seeing these orders filled is slim to none in my opinion. Your order will get auto-canceled on the date stated in the emails.

I just did the online chat. He seemed pretty confident in himself that it was going to happen. LOL. At this point if Best Buy gives me a $10 credit or coupon to go away I will be happy. This is such a good deal though I really want it to happen.

They all seem confident when they assure you. That's how they get rid of you. In reality, they know nothing. My guess is you, at best, will get an apology from Best Buy. You will not receive a penny more. Hope I'm wrong, but I bet I'm not.

Eh, their loss, I don't buy too much from them anymore these days and I used to spend a lot. I buy my camera stuff directly from Canon mostly, Amazon for most everything else and since I joined Costco I've spent over $1,200 in the last month or so on a drone and an iPad. They made their certificates virtually useless with their exclusions and then they stopped giving points on Apple purchases too.

I just wanted to let you guys know that there is some hope in it shipping, I also had an auto cancellation date of 6/7 but my magic keybaord just shipped today from Best Buy.
