I've been looking for a good laptop with a color accurate display for photo and video work and this seems to fit the Bill. I went to the store to check it out and the screen is really incredible. The color accuracy compared favorably to my iPhone 12 Pro that I held up next to it. Slightly more cool. At least in the store it ran pretty cool and quiet. This is also compatible with a pen since it has 4096 points of pressure sensitivity.
Some of the downsides are that the build quality seems okay. There is a bit of flex in the keyboard. Also it's pretty awkward to have the keys and touchpad behind the screen when using it in tablet mode. But that's common with all 2 in 1s. The processor, even though is an 11th gen Tiger Lake processor with 10 nm tech is pretty anemic with only 4 cores and 8 threads. It scores about 10,000 bench Mark score here

This would be a good deal at around $1000 even with the 4k display. I wouldn't worry about CPU power. ASUS tend to have heat issues with higher powered CPUs and/or loud fans.
Too heavy to lug around a lot perhaps from home to office and back once a day.
And why a G7 with nvidia? Dumb.
like burn in issues etc?
