This jacket has pit zips. I bought one the last time it was on sale, and even during steamy weather, this jacket is pretty comfortable and I don't overheat too easily.

is it truly waterproof though?

material looks like that material that will absorb water over time if you are standing in the rain

I didn't get my $10 email last night when I tried to buy this. I got that email today but the jacket is now $50 before coupon not the $35 it's listed in this thread.
