Just FYI cheap products like this one with rechargeable batteries are not safe to use. Just read some of the 1 star reviews to see reports of it smoking while charging and another review of the charger getting hot and damaging the cable. Look for UL or ETL listed products. You've been warned.

I got the 2 pack of this a while back. The fish are not as fully stuffed as the fish my sister bought elsewhere. But...I can't say enough good things about the lobster option. My cat loves it! It's soft and fluffy and has a ribbed belly. She loves all the textures and cuddles with it when I turn it off. Skip the fish get the lobster.

Got the fish a while back, cats played with it for all of 2 minutes before they figured it out. And walked away, never to play with it again.

My parents just got one of these for my 2 year old, they saw it marketed as a kid's toy elsewhere. It freaked my son out, but the dog reacted just like he does with a real fish- pawed at it then picked it up and carried it off

My cats liked the toy. But I found out that one of mine has misdirected rage issues. Whenever he gets the fish he starts attacking the other cats. He's never done that with any other toy. I still have them I just never turn them on. My cats will still play with them even if they are off and the one cat doesn't go bonkers when its off.

i really hope they make these smaller though... my cat being > 10 years old has hard time dragging this around as it is same size as a real fish.

The cats are still a little skeptical of the toy because their other toys don't move by themselves.

My cat destroyed the gear that drives the tail after about 2 months of use and her full body attack mode. I ended up buying another one because it seems to entertain my family just as much as her. Sigh....

I got one of these for our cat, and when I get up every morning I'll find the fish in a different part of the house. It's her absolute favorite toy with one caveat: as long as we don't turn it on.

If we don't turn it on she plays with it every day. The few times we've turned it on it's freaked our cat out and she'll avoid it for a few days. So I guess that saves us the hassle of charging it every so often.

Was thinking the same and saw someone got it for their puppy. Mine will chew it within a few minutes though.

If it is anything like the ones I bought for our cats then a dog will destroy unless they are very small dogs. The plastics inside aren't the most durable and while they hold up to a smaller cats jaws and pouncing, a dog's jaws would lead to a lot of crunching. Imho

Bought these last time I saw it on slickdeals. My cat hates it. Just stared at it and walked away.

You can find these for around $5. I bought one maybe 3 months ago. Both my cats ignored it. One of my dogs was annoyed by it, and my other dog flipped it around once or twice, then never bothered it again.
