These were full price a couple of days ago. I just happened to check again today and they're now $70 (28%) off. I checked the ad because the price seems really good and the thermostat is definitely in the ad but it's listed as only $20 off ($229 total). It seems there was a mistake in the ad or a mistake in the pricing. Either way...

DoD civilians with a CAC can now use the Navy exchange and can use the exchange website.

Indeed it does. Given the hot deals at AAFES lately, $179 seems about right. Nest Hubs were back at $25 a couple days ago.

Ah. Well I've been looking at smart thermostats extensively for a long time and this is a killer price however you look at it. 3 votes already and all downvotes? K.

And mine says backordered. They told me "We are currently unable to fulfill this order and currently waiting for possible restock."

Why does this happen all the time? When I purchased it there were 10+ in stock. Worst inventory system ever. What's your status?
