2 of 10 Walmarts in San Diego had at this price but are sold out. The rest are split between sold out at higher price and still on stock at higher price.

Will be on the look out for this one. Great price on what looks to be a decent router if it actually becomes available.

Not sure of the differences between AC and AX. Would moving from AC1900 to AX1800 end up providing less speed or would it still likely better just because it's moving to AX?

At any rate, looking to be either out of stock or regular price near me.

I can confirm that these are considerably marked down so keep searching. I was able to find some. There's hope yet.

Thats why I have a Unix firewall internet facing, my AP are only configured for browsing in a separate isolated network segment. All internal traffic is only routed via Wired. :-)

Eh, seems like more and more these are a miss. Store had "2-3"; had none when I looked. Oh well.

the 5g kept cutting out, my old Netgear never had issues (WNDR4500) and is better, this is being returned, complete garbage.

Same here. 5g not visible for me at all. Already spent around 3 hours with support but no luck. Also noticed speed fluctuate a lot. My old tplink ac1200 was working better.

Darn... Was hoping this would save my network. Had Netgear wnr1000 that would crash whenever I watch 1080p or better on YouTube. Then I switched to Netgear R7000 but the 5ghz would crash whenever I try to download updates for windows or games at over 100mbps. I wish more places carried Asus routers since I had less issues with them.
