I think it's regular edition. Not Gold, for $8 I'd get the DLC.

Good catch. On humble it's the "enhanced edition" and I'm not sure what the differences are from Gold. Likely dlc.

Enhanced Edition is a free upgrade for all editions. I think its for RTX cards.

Humble store has the expansion pass for on sale for $9.55 with monthly sub for next day and a half. So you could subscribe then buy the pass, and have Metro Exodus Gold with bunch of extra games for like $22.

Its showing me $11.24 for regular discount and additional 15% Choice discount because of the subscription that makes it $9.55. I get that when I set it to max savings v charity split, Maybe check what your split is set to?

EDIT: I think by default the split is half for discount and half for charity, but when you click on the shopping cart button and select Manage Your Rewards you can modify it. It says out of 20% but the metro pass appears to max out on 15% off.

Not 100% I understand your question but what I think you are asking:

When you buy it, they will give you a Steam code. You can gift it and anyone can redeem it for their Steam account. It is not tied to you unless you redeem.

Yeah. Buy the bundle, get all your codes and keep them forever, cancel.

They like to put in one AAA title per bundle. Some are bad and I usually pause my subscription though
