The reason I was asking is I have another different model that supposed to charge a fully drained car battery, but it gives me an error message every time. Once I put some charge with an old-school Schumacher, then it can pick it up from there. I read somewhere that there is feature that brings the fully drained batteries back to life. I believe Noco ones have that feature. I was wondering whether this Stanley has that feature.

This was one of the questions posted on HD. The answer:This unit requires a battery to have at least 2V remaining in it to activate all safety features and properly charge the battery. If a battery is completely depleted, it is recommended to have the battery checked at local automotive store to ensure it is working in proper function. If further assistance is needed, please contact Baccus Global Technical Support at 877.571.2391 or email at [email protected]|Feb 20, 2026

You can just apply a 12 v ps to it or parallel it and it sh l uld hold enough of a surge face charge temporarily to get your charger to keep it going...
