Don't ever let Walmart reps scan on their handhelds. Make them scan it at the register. The handheld always shows the website prices.

Went to the Walmart nearest me that showed anything and the girl said all three of the 500GB ones that showed up as in stock were sold and the 2 1TB ones rang up at $120 something. However there were a bunch of Emtec 256GB ones there for $11 so I grabbed a couple. If you are looking for anything it's in the cage not out on the shelves so just walk there and look around.

My stores have mostly put panels in front of the cage doors.

These deals are harder but I've gotten quite a few. Picked up 1 of these this AM. With these slickdeals posts, the key is to get in early. I had to run to the hardware store today, so I just made the trip a little earlier to a WM that had some in stock and was near a hardware store. I went to the store at 9:30 am and still met a slick dealer before me and one while I was purchasing it. Fortunately, I have 4 WMs in ~20 minute driving distance. So, yeah if the deal pops up and you wait, you can still get it, but it's unlikely. Also, my store still says 6+ in stock. Since these are locked up in a cage, either the inventory is off by a box or there is a box of them that is misplaced in the back, Unlikely that they were all stolen. It wasn't worth it to me, but I've been able to convince employees to look for them in the back. One time I was looking for an acer thin laptop. I think it retailed for ~800 and it was on clearance for ~89 or something. One store had 9 in stock while all the rest were cleared out. I drove in one night while running another errands and asked the associate to check. He said they say there were 9 in stock but he couldn't find them. Went through the whole, it'd be odd if they were all stolen right, he agreed and said he'd check. Took him about 10 minutes and he came out with one. Said they were mixed in with the newer version. I said how many were there. He brought out 7. I knew the rest were there but he probably wanted them. Bought them all, something I generally don't do.

wow.. went to a store nearby for grocery shopping.. found this one for @24.95, thanks OP.. if not for this post it wouldn't have crossed my mind while going through the electronics section.. actual sticker price was $47 something, but took it to the counter surprisingly it rang for $25 😀
