That's really expensive for a 13" laptop... Right? 🤔

Not all 13" laptops are cheap Chromebooks.... This is stuffing the power and design of a premium high end laptop into a small form factor.

Looks great, but I feel like if this is on Amazon it isn't as cheap as it can be.

Dell outlet is similar price, and they now offer 10% off coupon. Saving 10% may not be enough to justify refurb vs new. And new on Dell site is over $2k. So this looks like a good price for this machine. As with all laptops, this one is not for everyone, but for those that it is a fit for, it looks like a good deal IMHO..

The XPS 13 is the best of the best for some of us folks.
I got a lower spec model at $1350.
Costco has the same with a smaller SSD at $1999.

I was looking for an xps style computer for work (sales in my car/customer home) and wanted good build quality, good battery, and good screen. I ended up with an open box MacBook air for 720 including tax from best buy. It only has a 250gb add but it's blazing fast. I'm an Android guy and i have never owned a Mac but this may change my mind after the price to performance ratio. Just my 2 cents on saving some bucks.

The specs on this (32GB RAM and 2TB SSD) are amazing for less than $2K. Applause

This would be on my shortlist if I were in the market for such a device. That 16:10 aspect ratio is real nice. Often, I prefer Full HD-ish screens on an ultraportable (I skew fairly heavily towards battery life), but that's a damn nice screen, too.

With integrated graphics. I don't understand whats the point of ultraexpensive laptops missing a decent gpu. Are you going to do your spreadsheet faster?
Same reason why there's business sedans with engines with hundreds of horsepower. You don't have to look like a sports car to have power and luxury.

I would hope most sedans would have hundreds of horsepower. I think I know what you were trying to say but it doesn't make sense? And he is asking why this laptop is missing power (gpu) for the price. (Which I understand why). You are saying it doesn't look like a sports car but has all the power and luxury of one? But this laptop does look sporty, but is missing the power of a dedicated gpu?

I want this exact laptop with 16 GB and 512 GB. It's at $1287 on their site with the coupon. Think it's possible to get it for $1200 or 1100 sooner than later if I'm patient?
