It's always been worth the gamble for me because they've never hesitated to refund my money if there's less than a month from expiration. They've even sent me a replacement package and issued a refund on a few occasions.

Make sure you check the expiration date when you receive them. I've had Amazon give me credit a few times because the best by date was within a couple months from receipt.

Cheetos are a hit at the beach. Agree with the "more per ounce" comments, but also that they're convenient and easy to eat and clean up. Especially for kids!

I will not buy perishables from Amazon for that very reason. The last time I bought these chips it was 3 days to expire. I go to Sams Club they usually have at least a month before expiration.
