It's always been worth the gamble for me because they've never hesitated to refund my money if there's less than a month from expiration. They've even sent me a replacement package and issued a refund on a few occasions.

It's not $0.40/bag - it's $0.25/bag..

40 x 0.40 = $16.00

40 x 0.25 = $10.00

Did the price go up for classic lays? I am getting $9.51 after 15% coupon and 15% s&s. The base price for the classic is $13.59 not $11.98.

Make sure you check the expiration date when you receive them. I've had Amazon give me credit a few times because the best by date was within a couple months from receipt.
