This season, I moved onto a battery powered mower because the cord was just getting it the way.
If you can get over dragging around a cord, this thing is great for the price.
The only thing I personally have against cordless is the battery life depletes over the years and you're paying for essentially this lawn mower when buying replacement batteries.
The time it takes to set up and untangle the cord and fight it as you drag it around the yard makes battery worth the extra couple bucks imo.

Corded should suffice. Get 100' extension and you'll be able to do your entire yard.

Battery all the way. Battery is more expensive though so it really comes down to how much you'd like to spend.

While I agree with the hassle of cords mentioned, don't forget that every 5-7 years you'll likely be replacing batteries, if you're lucky to get that long. With brands like ego that could cost you $300+ per battery.
With that said, I just ordered the ego hedge trimmer to take over for my corded unit for your exact reasoning.

Yeah I agree. Time will tell if it's worth it. I think that if the battery took a crap I'd just buy a whole new unit. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
For smaller tools like hedge trimmers, weed Wacker and so on I think that battery is a no Brainer. Deals come up all the time and adding a new tool in that line will give you that battery that's needs replacing if it ever does.
Ive found these lithium batteries last a long time as long as they are kept inside between usage.
