I've never seen any B&O audio product with a retail price of $40 (let alone $20 on sale). Makes me suspicious about these. I wonder if it was some half baked attempt to get into Costco.

RRP was $300 when they were released 3 years ago. The reviews at the time weren't great, not only because of the price. Anywhere else I'd say the $40 is a price error, but at Costco it's hard to say - very possibly just B&O dumping old stock of an old model.
If you're happy with the design then for $20 they are probably a good buy, but don't expect too much from them...

What else is there to expect from these though? Does it sound good? Can the other person hear me clearly? Is there anything else this should do other than what I just specified?
I am genuinely curious, I'm not trying to defend this product. Because $20 is not bad for these things. IF it was $10 then i'll throw shade and probably buy it.
Added: Wow after reading the reviews, these suck. No battery life, hard to maneuver, hit or miss with BT connection, and it's discontinued, but good sound. Online only, my warehouse does not stock it.

At least it'll be easy to return to Costco if they really suck.
Just got it and tested it out. Wow, this thing sucks even at $20. It's uncomfortable and sound is not that great. Definitely going back next time I go to the store.
This thing came with battery completely drained, charged 2 hrs+ still not ready. Yes it's really uncomfortable to wear so don't hold your hope high. I think the Vankyo I got from amazon is better for cheaper.
I've used these b&o for 2 days. Not sure what people expect. They are great for me. Bottom line is they are great if they fit your ears and your specific use case. They are not a do it all headphone. Mine will sit in the office full time and are a perfect compliment to my noise cancelling sennheiser's that travel with me. Pros: Earbuds that go in your ear tire me after a few hours so these work for me. The sound once tuned with the B&O app (ios 14.5) is very good. It allows you to hear the exterior noise (generally works well if you are in a fairly quiet area). Build quality is quite good. They connect quickly. The mic works well when the cord is in front of you. Design is iconic if you care about that stuff. Cons: They fall off your ears when doing anything physical. Okay for lifting, walking and office. Cords are so 5 years ago. Battery life (~5.5hrs at 70% ) is ok given the fairly light weight. It is a little bulky. Buttons are fiddly. There is no noise isolation (also a pro depending on your needs). It takes a little while to find your comfort setting (if they ever fit your head). If you expect things to be perfect out of the box, these are not the headphones you are looking for.

$20 B&O's? I'd expect trash reviews as well. Looks like yet another top brand selling their name over the product.

"The mic offers above-average intelligibility"
Old link but still valid, right?

I will add the B&O app works to check firmware and adjust headset EQ - more or less. So not bad for twenty dollars…
