This is a great opportunity on the affordability factor. The current 15" is reaching car prices if your a student its not even a consideration, but this opens the door to something is simply now a tool for only the rich.
I am thumbing it up, because I think it is a good deal. i7-7700 a great four-cores cpu, 16 GB supports multiple tasks and 512 GB essential storage, easy to install the OS through Apple Internet Recovery. Most important, it is less than half the price as those M1s, it will be good to buy and hold on for a while.
Nevermind, found them. Wish they were condition A. Tempting though since my current 17 inch Macbook Pro is 11 years old now. Just upgraded RAM to 8GB haha! It works just fine. I assume these are probably good for 5-8 years.
Just noticed No Operating System. How does that work with a Macbook? Cost and where to buy?

A MacBook Pro is a tool for high-end consumer. You do understand the Pro is short for "Professional," right?
So, of course it's not a consideration for a student. That's why there are multiple devices in the lineup.

All Macs can get a free OS via download, or by using Internet Recovery to grab the OS via internet when you boot up a Mac that has been 100% wiped.
Thank you and rep'd. Would bite but not sure how about B condition.

I have bought 6 "B" condition and they look like they just came out of the box. Battery count on them was in the 2 to 56 range. Most were under 10 for the battery. The charger is 3rd party though and not apple.
This is a phenomenal deal for someone looking to buy a Macbook Pro.

The Intel models can boot camp to simultaneously run Windows and MacOS on one laptop. I use BootCamp frequently on my 2018.
