The comparable unit from Ryobi (sister company of Hoover), 100mph/280cfm, model P2180 with 18V 4Ah battery and charger is $129 regular price [homedepot.com]. Unless if you are already in the Hoover OnePwr 18V battery system or are really into vacuums, the Ryobi 18V has far more tool choices from power tool, outdoor/yard and other odds-and-ends tools , plus the batteries are often on sale (4Ah for $50 or less, and larger capacities are available). The Ryobi refurb version ZRP2180 is listed for $80 on HD [homedepot.com] and $70 on Direct Tools [directtoolsoutlet.com] though I haven't seen it in stock for a while. It was in stock at DT in Jan 2020 for $75 after 25% coupon.

For a little bit more, the Ryobi brushless 110mph/350cfm P21120VNM is $149 [homedepot.com] and 110mph/440cfm P21100VNM is $169 [homedepot.com], both with 4Ah battery. The Ryobi 40V brushed 110mph/525cfm RY40480VNM is $159 [homedepot.com] with 40V 4Ah battery (double the energy of the 18V 4Ah battery) but it's a different battery system.
