If you're planning on using this regularly, i would recommend getting a conversion kit to fit a full sized propane tank. This thing will burn through a small cylinder (green one)in about an hour. Which makes this thing quite expensive to operate.

Weber grills are traditionally well regarded and this should be a quality portable unit. Do not expect this to quickly prepare a large group's worth of food though

Weber Q's are the best! I had the older Weber Q 200 for 6 years, Sold it for almost what I paid for it and then got the newer Q2200 last time Amazon had it on sale.

Just me and the SO, occasionally have a group of 4-5 total over and would grill for them. I think this can handle that amount of people ?

Weber Q is a great grill as with all things Weber but I sold mine when I moved. Now I'm sticking to my Weber charcoal grill and a built in grill for fast gas grill.
The Q is not quite portable and not quite large enough for grilling large quantities so keep that in mind before buying.

Yeah this would be good for your use case. I would still recommend getting a conversion hose that will allow it to hook to a larger tank.

Kinda weird but three people in my circle of friends have this model, one has the optional legs/stand on theirs.
My girlfriend has one and I've made steaks, chicken, burgers etc. on it multiple times. As a guy who's always owned a big 6+ burner stainless grill I had my doubts... but these little guys are awesome!
They cook evenly, and surprisingly you can use all of the grilling surface, the cold spots are in the corners but still very usable.
You can plop it onto a picnic table and it works great, very portable. It takes the small propane camping size canisters and they last for about 5 or 6 cookouts I'd say.
Highly recommended if you don't need a huge grill, perfect for a single/couple/small family scenario.

It is a great price for a Weber, specially if you are looking for a portable camping grill that is great and affordable. Here is some thing to take in consideration:

If you need the cart, that will be $95.

Webel Cart with wheels ($95)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FLRB...UTF8&psc=1

For reference
Similar portable camping grill from Coleman Roadtrip 285 ($270) (cart included):
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BLH1...UTF8&psc=1

Overall Weber will be cheaper with the cart and it will last a long time with the proper care.

Have and love this grill. Use it as my main gas grill when too lazy to break out the Weber Kettle. Going strong for nearly 3 years now with only very minor maintenance required. Think I paid more for mine used - have never seen it this cheap.

The price is great for this grill. I had the 3200 for about 7 years. My only complaint are the cooking grates, they are too thick and very hard to clean. Grease and other burnt materials build on and around and create sludge type material difficult to clean.

If you like going camping, parks, beach, this is a great grill to take on the go. It is easy to clean very portable and if anything you can purchase an optional cart to take it almost everywhere. Even for small parties at home, it will do the job. Also, it is great for noobs because it is small and easier to control.

Been eying this for a couple of years -- never seen it go on sale anywhere though, not sure if I missed anything! Anyone using a non-weber stand option for theirs that works well?

Personal opinion. Depends on what you are cooking. If you doing simple food like hotdogs or burgers then I think you will be able to handle up to 8. 10 will be a stretch and you can have some people waiting for food unless you were cooking ahead.

If you are doing steaks, chicken, ribs, basically something more elaborated, then I think it is not ideal for more than 5-6. That is my talking about my experiences.
