In my opinion, the sound is better than most TVs have built in but not as good as the vizio soundbar I replaced with this. I had a roku ultra and vizio soundbar previously and in addition to the sound being better, the ultra is faster. This soundbar seems dog slow in comparison. Very delayed between clicks. Slow to load things, etc. Conversely, I had an airbnb rental recently that had the exact same soundbar and it was really snappy and responsive. Maybe something wrong with mine. Good luck if you decide to buy.
One other incidental note - a few weeks into owning mine it was obvious the wifi remote wasn't working anymore and it was relying on the line of sight infrared remote. This was easily confirmed by pairing up an old remote and it worked fine. I submitted a ticket to roku and they didn't even ask any questions - just had a new remote in my mailbox a few days later.
Roku avoiding Ethernet and trying to force everything to WiFi is very off-putting to me. I understand radio spectrum, and if you live on the second floor of a three story "bee colony" apartment complex with other apartments in every direction the air is saturated. Being able to use a cable makes all the difference in the world for video content.

New one sounds like a big upgrade just by means of larger enclosure and 4x 1.9" drivers versus 4x2.5" on the pro. I'm personally a fan of a bass radiator on any soundbar this size. Or perhaps 4 woofers 2 tweeters. But I guess it all depends on how they did with everything. Might bet is it will sound much better than the last one. With slightly better bass with the larger drivers.
Seems to also have wireless surround speakers and subwoofer you can add. If this current one doesn't work with those, also something to think about.

Heads up the sub is not a bad addition but the "surround sound" speakers are not worth the money.
I previously had the Streambar pro, satellite speakers and sub for about less than a month before exchange it for two Amazon Echo's, Firestick and sub instead. For about $75 more I was able to get a better surround sound (albeit virtual SS though) then I did here with the full on Roku set.
The Streambar pro itself was significantly better than TV speakers when paired with the sub though I will give them that.

I've noticed setting up a roku stick that with poor wifi signal the interface is very laggy. Moved the wifi router closer and the interface responded much faster afterward.
