If you do activate radio service, you also get free streaming as well for your phone etc. Also if you have a google nest music device or a Alexa product, you can also stream on that once you connect your Sirius account to it. For example… you can say. "Hey google play Sirius XM channel (say the number or the station name)' and it will play it. It's super good .

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

What I do is, turn the car on, tune it to XM channel 0 and it will display the radio ID#, plug that into the app and the refresh signal gets sent, leave the car running and leave it on channel 0 and the radio will refresh within 2 to 3 minutes. Done!

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, when I went to test this out on my wife's car, she told me that when she went into the dealership for service last week, they gave her a "free trial" of SiriusXM when they worked on her car. Not sure why, as that never happened to me, but I assume they probably used the exact same app to do it
