It's true, the low audio quality can be detected especially with music. It can be irritating. I'm not sure why this standard offer is posted on SD's front page week after week, other than helping people scam the service for more than the initial free trial. Three months isn't enough time to get used to using SiriusXM and figuring out what's available. That's whey they used to include a year of service with cars. I've found it to be true with steaming music apps also.

How is this company still in business? Don't people use Spotify/Apple Music now?

At least you can now cancel via chat. They used to make you call in and it was sooooooo painful to say no to the rep over and over again on their "offers".

I received this promotion in snail mail and was thinking about trying it, despite the low audio quality. Just curious, but not curious enough to browse through a dozen pages of posts here, what is the going rate for their subscription?

This,,.agree 100% I was a very long XM sub before they merged..Then little by little they started to remove my favorite channels or merge them. I cut the cord and just use my iPhone in BlueTooth mode and listen to DI.FM in 320k MP3..Sounds so much better and I can now listen to my favorite music again (they removed 'Electric Area' and 'Backspin') to name a few.
Thank you for this! This is why I stopped using their services because they kept removing the electronic channels. Just downloaded DI.FM and look forward to using it on the way home!

If you have good service and no data limit issues def have at it. That's what I do with Spotify or I just download the stations to my phone and don't even need data.

My 90 day trial ends next month. I got an email saying that I could get another 3 months for a $2 processing fee. Of course that will require a valid address for my credit card.

Are most people ignoring this offer in favor of just going for a new 90 day period?

Got the same. Probably could try a virtual card with a $2 limit but I'll probably let it expire and just keeping trying this way until it won't work anymore.

I thought this was pretty well known. I sign up for a new three month trial every, well, three months. Have the date on my google calendar, early morning (before the car's taken out of the garage, thus it hasn't received the shutoff signal yet) I sign up for a new trial. Have to make sure to use a different email, possibly name and zip too (not sure). Have two vehicles on the same schedule so I do one after the other. Haven't paid for XM in years.
Any updates?
Is this still working?

Don't use your car vin, use the radio id.

Also if you have been a recent subscriber, it may not work. The trial will not work back to back, but if you give it a couple months of cooldown it should work.

These two posts seem to conflict with each other. One post says the trials won't work back to back, and the other post says he does the trial every three months. Is the trick here to use different info like email/name/zip?
