He literally just bought the car in 2015 and it's been working since then. No signovers, no transfers, no nothing. Not sure how.
So the old owner just forgot about it, died, whatever. Enjoy the ride. You'll probably have it as long as the car, but that's where it will stop. Maybe with the radio ID you could social engineer the login information and get yourself the streaming access.

My trial has been over for months and this keeps still giving me the sorry but you can sign up for $2 and credit card.
does anybody know if you can just use a prepaid credit card with say $25 (or less) on it and pay the $2 that way and then spend the rest of the amount on the credit card elsewhere after that so there are no funds left on it to charge at renewal time?

I have done this successfully. Makes cancelation much easier since you have nothing to worry about if they try to keep charging after you have canceled.

(Used a gift card I got for test driving a car)

Just as. FYI. If you do activate radio service, you also get free streaming as well for your phone etc. Also if you have a google nest music device or a Alexa product, you can also stream on that once you connect your Sirius account to it. For example… you can say. "Hey google play Sirius XM channel (say the number or the station name)' and it will play it. It's super good .

Anyone know how I can remove the siriusxm free preview from my car? I have a 2012 Highlander, and when I want to change mode from CD to Bluetooth or vice versa, I cycle through FM, FM2, AM (understandable) and then XM1, XM2 and XM3 preview stations that are playing ads 24/7. Unless quality goes way up and price goes down, I will never subscribe or even listen if it was free. Would love to remove if from my car altogether.

I have a lifetime subscription also since 2005. How much is it to transfer to another radio? First I've heard of this.
It's $75 to transfer to a new tuner. That fee has remained consistent, but what changed is it's no longer capped at 3 times "in a lifetime". I've also had the lifetime subscription since 2005, that I got for $400 (was a special @ $100 off): winning.

I transferred to my current vehicle radio. I was told $35 charge. They took credit card info but have yet to be charged. Now I'm gonna try to dump my Sirius sportster replay with boom box on eBay.

Were you already a customer or did you have an inactive radio? How did you get the offer? I tried last time and they wouldn't do more than 1 year.

Great deal! I have been doing the $60/yr deal for a while, but that is fantastic.
