Great deal! I have been doing the $60/yr deal for a while, but that is fantastic.
I asked for it specifically 2 years ago I think and they told me to pound sand.

They always send that to me during a 3 month trial.

I have a lifetime subscription. Thanks to the Alvarez lawsuit and Sirius/XM losing I can now transfer my subscription as much as I want. For some reason now Sirius doesn't contact me anymore.
Lawsuit? I have had the lifetime since the beginning. Transferred it 1 time for a $75 fee. Now you tell me I can transfer as much as I want for no fee?

You'll pay a $35 each time. Unlimited transfers. Pretty damn sweet, huh? Read over the settlement details.

does anybody know if you can just use a prepaid credit card with say $25 (or less) on it and pay the $2 that way and then spend the rest of the amount on the credit card elsewhere after that so there are no funds left on it to charge at renewal time?
I never understood why people are so hooked up on not using their own credit cards. You can set a reminder 4 weeks in advance and cancel. There is no contract. Actually, I cancel ahead of time now. Being an owner of Sirius (XM) for 10 years now maybe. I think twice I forgot to cancel and they charged me like $100 but I called and they refunded it.

Because when you cancel and they do an oopsie, you shouldn't have to wait for your money back. They got me years ago. Never again. No second chance there, not when you see them try and charge you $175 for something you cancelled and wouldn't have paid in the first place for one year.

I did. I just got my new car in early July and got that offer. I took advantage of it and actually I'm only going to get charged like $1.37 after my initial three months are up

SiriusXM Dealer app... For android it is this:
https://play.google.com/store/app...n_US&gl=US

But you have to be at a dealership (can't just do it from your house). That's why I was saying if someone wanted me to sign them up for the 6 month trial I could do it (if they sent me their radio ID) tomorrow when I am near a dealership.

Thanks for the tips. It works on my VW GTI!

With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.
I keep mentioning their abysmal audio quality and all of these near deaf people keep replying that it sounds fine to them LOL.

unfortunately thats the issue with satellites like these in geostationary orbit, sirius's audio quality is limited by its bandwith to users
