With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

Didn't work for me even with different name, email, etc. It says radio ID is already in trial. Are you suggesting to time it so that trial is expired but radio has not received the shutoff signal and sign up for a new trial with different name and email.

Honestly, SiriusXM is a dinosaur service at this point. It's not very good. Between the DJs talking nonstop, especially right at 5PM, as you're getting out of work, and the repetitive music. It's just not worth it. Making custom playlists with Spotify, Apple music, etc. That's modern music listening.

I tried one more time. Hoping something has changed. Nope, it's still the lame service they had 2 years ago.

320kbps isn't CD or lossless quality. Everything else is true.

I'll have to try that. I thought they'd look at the same ID for your Sirius XM receiver to check for uniqueness.

oh I didnt know there was a Canadian one? No the us site. Maybe I am just lucky? Use a different name, phonenumber, email. Maybe even try a random address? I waited a few days in between.
