With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

Worked for two Hondas... use a unique (or misspelled ) name if you've previously been an active customer.

There a way to get this deal using an existing account? I have a radio not activated and removed from my account.

3 month free trial to SiriusXM for inactive factory installed vehicles - NO Credit Card Needed- YMMV.

It works for both of my cars that had free trials before.

Perfect timing. Last free sub ended yesterday, and got this today. Thanks!

Has anyone been able to renew this program? Mine expired a few weeks ago, and when I enter in the Radio ID again, it keeps on saying :
"Unfortunately, your trial or paid subscription recently ended and your radio is ineligible for a trial subscription. However, you can start enjoying SiriusXM with this great subscription offer."

please help.

Sirus forces you to chat with an overseas call center when you east to cancel. They keep you on the chat for 15 minutes trying to keep you. Never again. Spotify all the way!

I hate the sound quality also… wonder why they haven't upgraded this yet?! All these years and nothing new on the technology side 🙄

I've done this quite a bit but it seems my vehicles have been tagged for no more renewals, tried VIN vs radio ID, different names, emails, addresses, etc, all to no avail. I just get the "THis vehicle has just ended a trial blah blah blah" and won't let me renew it.

Is this scarry to cancel the sub? I don't remember what it was, but I had to call to cancel. They sent a bill of less than $1. prorated?
Mostly casual users may not use the service and forget to cancel. Then they send a unpaid bill to collection agency. Don't try it unless you are really using the service.

It's not a fun process to cancel. I had to call, and then the call was transferred to a chat service. It took about 30 minutes of chatting to get them to finally cancel the service. I wouldn't resubscribe even if free.
