With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

Worked for two Hondas... use a unique (or misspelled ) name if you've previously been an active customer.

Funny, said I wasn't eligible but I was eligible for a 3 month free trial.
Maybe the processing fee is the difference?

I just guess and hope no one questions it. If you're using their app, why? Several, nearly all, audio streaming services have higher quality audio. At least by my best guess.

I love their infinite music selection and customizable Pandora music channels. They also have news and opinion , comedy, and old time radio.

I think the sound quality on the app is at least 192 Kbps, which is good enough for me.

I encourage you to check out Spotify, they have more selections, compensate their artist more, and have higher quality available.

My subscription ended 3 days ago and was not reupped by their idiot rep - so I qualified for this offer. Need to remember to call an "renegotiate" before 3 months are up.

Anyone else use privacy(dot)com for Sirius but it stopped working? Says something like 'cannot authorize card' now when I make a new card.
