I have three of these. The switch failed on two of them so they are stuck in strobe mode. These flashlights are only used every few months so they were lightly used and the switches still failed. The one that still works is going strong though. When they work, they are good flashlights but only having 1/3 work within 2 years of purchasing has turned me off from purchasing any more.
Anker is making a brand out of slickdeals, everyone loves a flashlight. Price high and sale everyday. Well played
Bought this years ago. Button went wonky it only flashed after maybe a year of very light use. Maybe once a month. Would not buy this again.

It's dishonest, but buy a new one & return the bad one & put the reason for return as defective. If Amazon keeps selling items that cannot last a few years, why do us consumers have to suffer for it.

I can't speak to longevity of it but the switch mechanism is better than Anker's. I've generally liked all other Anker products I've used and recommend them (chargers, adapters, cables, etc.) but I won't get another Anker flashlight.
I have two of these flashlights. Bought them a little over a year ago. They are good when they work. One stopped charging, might be the charging cap end problem, and the other would not hold a charge. Too late to claim warranty.

Still, it would also appear to be not quite as good as those more expensive lights either:
