Takes 1x AA battery. I prefer that rather than the 2x AAA battery vertical mice out there. Rechargeable is the best, but are not as common and usually more expensive.
If you're still young without wrist pain, you're not invincible so please try to take care of your wrists before the pain starts. I recommend getting a vertical mouse.
If you're like me and have wrist pain thanks to 20 years of using a traditional mouse, get a vertical mouse, it's worth the $10-20 risk of it just might helping!
If you're lucky enough to not have any pain with traditional mice, I hope that you'll never experience the annoying wrist pain from using mice.

Took me a while but I got really used to vertical mice now. The pain was too much for me with traditional mice. They don't completely eliminate wrist pain but they significantly reduce it for me. Still have to take breaks every now and then, though.
I highly recommend a vertical mouse. They're way more comfortable for long use in my opinion. Would not use it for games but for web browsing/work they're great.
I bought this model for my mom. She likes it. The max DPI is low would be my complaint. You need to use the highest setting to make it feel ok to use. It's fine but I would like the option to go up one more step if I was using it and not my mom.

100% agree with this statement. Started developing bad wrist pain in my mid thirties and was going down the CT surgery route until I found the vertical mouse. Now I rarely if ever have wrist pain.
If you have any wrist pain from using a mouse, give a vertical mouse a try. It'll feel awkward at first but give it a month. If you're like me your wrist pain will disappear and using it will become completely natural.

Visually they look identical. Is VicTsing higher quality?
Speaking of VicTsing.... Just re-visited the Amazon and noticed the entire VicTsing store is gone.... anyone knows what happened?
