I see LG WM3900HBA | DLEX3900B electric washer and dryer combo on sale black color for 1499.99 plus taxes. It includes Free Delivery, Basic Installation and Haul Away Included in Most Areas* and worry free costco return policy.

Though its a discontinued model currently sold by costco, its pretty much same as 4000 model that's replaced 3900's.

Samsung 6300 is also on sale (Champagne) for $100 less but Lg looks a better buy for bucks.

It has an app where it notifies you when the load is running or finish.

Also, you can remote start the washer or dryer. Good if you are on electric TOU rate plans
Great deal. This washer was #1 recommended by Consumer Reports last I checked.

Gas model dryer on sale as well, $100 more than electric.

Your laundry area will dictate which type of dryer you should use. If you have a gas hook-up, go with that. Electric needs 220V. Running either a new 220V or a gas line is expensive so go with whichever is in place.

FYI for anyone that hasn't taken delivery yet. It is true that the Innovel installers will try to rush as fast as possible to get your washer/dryer installed and get the heck out of your house unless you make it clear what you expect. They probably have like 20 installs to do in a day. I just double checked with them when they arrived that they would level the washer after install and watch the walls as they went up and down the stairs. I also provided them with my own stainless steel hoses, dryer tubing, and a gas line even though they did have all of this.

I had very specific hose length requirements for behind my units (especially the dryer venting) because of the size of the space, and having stainless steel vs. rubber tubes is a worthy insurance policy against early leaks. It's like $30 for peace of mind.

Anyone else having massive issues with their install? I was scheduled for 6/23 (they brought a big truck that couldn't fit in my building), 6/30 (no show), 7/7 (no show).

The Costco logistics line is 60-90 min wait every time I call...

Does anyone know what's the best way to order the pedestals after delivery of the washer/dryer order and still have it installed for us?

Still waiting for my delivery and installation. Back in may said shipped, install date in June, but they never came. Gave me another install date in June, but still never came. Contacted Costco, was told my washer and dryer was missing (how the hell?). Ended up ordering the Samsung washer and dryer. Should be here this Saturday, but I also got word from Costco that our LG washer and dryer will be delivered in August.

Really want the LG compared to Samsung, but tired of the waiting game. Should I stick with LG and wait or go with Samsung at this point?

Still waiting on my LG order placed in late May. Originally was given an estimated delivery in early June. That came and went and it was shipped in mid June from LG. No other tracking update since mid June, still says shipped.

Costco customer service hasn't been helpful either. They have been looking into it for a week now with no update.

My washer/dryer was installed a few weeks ago, but here is the issue that I'm facing and thought to see if anyone else has noticed it. Let's say when I start the dryer; it shows 57 minutes or whatever in the cycle, then when it has 5-8 minutes left, it jumps back to ~15 minutes left, and then again when 5 minutes or so left, it starts showing 12 or 14 minutes. I have a new vent pipe, and my dryer vent that goes out is clean, and the lint trap is also clean.

I can't tell u for sure if this's it but you may have it set for some sort of auto sense where the dryer things the clothes r still wet… similar to wrinkle free, in which the dryer keeps cycling after it stops for a period of time but the clothes were still left in the dryer.

Yeah totally normal. If you select any of the "sensor dry" settings it will constantly adjust the estimated time until it's dry to your preferred settings using the moisture sensor. So it's a feature, not a bug. I find that those setting under-dry when set to "normal" dry. So I always bump them up to "more" dry.

Thanks. Perhaps I need to play around with settings before calling LG.

I'm in the same boat here. Had delivery cancelled 2 times. Including one on the day of delivery. Order status online says "PULLBACK' and they have no idea where my product is.

This was my first time ordering a large appliance for my home (always a renter before). I just got the washer and dryer installed this weekend and the installers were in and out quickly as others have mentioned. They did test the dryer and run the washer through a cycle. I did not sign any paperwork for receiving the appliances.

After the delivery, I learned that for typical appliance deliveries, it is recommended that you inspect the package for damage before uncrating, check for the correct model number, and check for dents on the appliance. All this should be done before allowing them into the house and signing any paperwork.

For me, I did not do any of that and now the washer and dryer are in a narrow closet so I won't be able to see the back. As long as the units operate normally, I'm ok if there are dents I don't see. Are there any other issues I should watch out for since I didn't inspect before they installed?

Did others have a chance to inspect the appliance before it was brought into the house?

I'll be sure to do this for my refrigerator delivery (not from Costco).

Thanks for any responses in advance.

I hear you about the scratches and dents. They ended up putting a couple small scratches on the washer and a tiny dent in the bottom left side. It's hardly noticeable, but they weren't exactly careful. I also suspect that these scratches happened in shipping. For me it didn't seem worth it to send back after waiting for who knows how long before getting another one. But yes, they were already taking the new washer/dryer up the stairs before I could even get a chance to look at them. Definitely recommend having them wait for you to inspect before they start installing.

I'd try to get behind there and check the water lines for leaks while it's running (common issue) and to test the gas line (if used) for leaks. Both of those things could be a huge safety risk if they're not addressed. If you see leaking lines it might just need a bit of tightening with a wrench.

I would also put a bubble level on top of the unit to make sure it's level on all four corners/sides and adjust the feet with the included wrench accordingly. Those turkeys who installed mine didn't install the plastic caps that go in the back of the exposed shipping bolt holes or leave me with the nonslip pads for the feet. They just threw all that out along with my manuals. Check the full online user manual to see where those plastic bolt hole covers go. it's not a big deal, but it helps keep dust out. Also if they didn't give you these or a wrench, you can order replacements through LG's warranty service. Was pretty easy to do, but I had to provide pictures of my serial numbers and purchase receipt through a super convoluted email/website system.
