One year warranty or not, I highly advise against getting a DJI refurb. They replaced mine with a refurb, under warranty, and the refurb had it's own problems, so they replaced it again with another refurb that also had problems. Mind you each iteration of this took months, and was like pulling teeth. Their support is horrible and if you don't chase them you'll get nowhere--and quite often you are starting from zero since there's no record of the call you may have had with the last support rep a week ago. The whole experience sapped all the excitement around flying a drone away. I'll just stick to flying airplanes. A whole lot less BS.

What planet are you from? The air only has a 10 minute flight time, noisy, and limited distance. The batteries are harder to find and more $$

I agree, having owned 8 different DJI models, the Air is nice especially at this price, although I'd prefer a used Pro 1 for $400 if you can find one. The Mini 2 has much better range, possibly better camera, lower cost batteries that charge quicker and don't self-discharge, and doesn't require FAA registration. The follow me requires a third party app and since it doesn't have sensors, there's a chance of it hitting something.

It's a very poor implementation of follow me, which easily loses its target, and if that's your priority then I would suggest getting an original Mavic Pro over this so you get the Occusync.

For those that haven't used it, Occusync has a multi-mile range and is fairly unaffected by multiple surrounding signals, whereas I have had a Mavic Air struggle at a couple hundred feet in a higher congestion area.
It honestly is a make-or-break deal, which is why it was so awesome to get it in newer models.

Never used a Mavic Air but I just got a DJI Mini 2 bundle kit from Costco two days ago for $440 and its awesome and its worth every penny. Its super portable and the camera quality is really good in my opinion. Here's a video i just shot with it
