To each their own, but I don't think it's worth the risk. For one, EVGA B-Stock PSUs only have a 1-year limited warranty compared to 10-years on this Seasonic PSU (or even 12 years if you go for a Seasonic Prime unit). Second, this is a relatively high-end PSU, which would compete with the likes of EVGA Supernova G2 / GS SKUs. Currently, EVGA B-stock has Supernova G5 / GT / GM's in stock[evga.com] in the range of $75-109 ranging from 650W to 850W, and they're all a tier below this[linustechtips.com] PSU. Seems like going B-stock right now would be paying too much for relatively little.

This is actually a better PSU than a Supernova G5 / GT / GM. It's not competing against those.

Yep, that's what I said. "Currently, EVGA B-stock has Supernova G5 / GT / GM's in stock in the range of $75-109 ranging from 650W to 850W, and they're all a tier below this PSU."
The point I was making is that you're saving maybe ~$30 for an inferior product with 1/10th the warranty. It's not a gamble I would make, even if I could get a Supernova G2/GS in that price range with a 1 year warranty.

Seasonic does not have advance exchange, so good luck finding a spare psu while you wait for them to receive your psu and send one to you after they get it.

Seasonic does offer advance RMA service. A Google search turned up a couple users[tomshardware.com]who mentioned it[anandtech.com], where Seasonic asked for a deposit for the advance replacement (which is refunded when the RMA'd PSU arrived). It seemed a bit anecdotal, so I just emailed them (using their contact us form on the Seasonic website) and they said once your RMA request is processed you'll get an automated email within 15 minutes with 2 options, the advance RMA is the 2nd option. I wish they were a bit more detailed than this so I've gone ahead and asked them to elaborate, but I've attached a screencap of their original email response.

What cards are you running? That seems high. My 6x 3070's do less than 720 watts. A bit over 900 at the wall. I'd suggest looking into used server power supplies. You can get a 1200 watt platinum rated unit for 50-100.
Likely AMD cards or older Nvidias. My 3080 pulls 205w at 97mh/s, and if I wanted to go for efficiency I can do 88mh/s at like 170w. If he is running five 3090s, sure, might need a 1500w.

Seasonic does offer Advance Exchange / Advance RMA. Here's their response to my follow up question for more details:

Option 2: Advanced Exchange:
With a collateral deposit, you can receive the replacement unit before the original PSU arrives at our Service Center.
1. Send a collateral deposit of 75.00 USD via PayPal to Seasonic's PayPal account: [email protected]
2. IMPORTANT! Write down your RMA number in the "Notes" field.
3. Once our RMA Department receives the deposit, we will send the replacement unit to you.
4. To be refunded of the deposit, send your original PSU to the Seasonic Service Center when you receive the replacement unit. We will refund you once our Service Center receives your shipment.
Any question regarding this, please let us know.
Thank you.
So while it's not a very elegant solution, they do offer Advance Exchange as an option with a refundable deposit, which is understandable. Note: this is their response to my email sent from their contact us form on the official Seasonic website.
