In my view Costco is still a better deal for couple of reasons

1. Installation, parts and haul of old appliances included
2. 90 days returns and additional warranty when purchased with Costco Visa card
3. Comparable or almost similar models

Man, appliances sure got expensive. Think I bought my washer dryer set from slickdeals/lowes for $400 a pop ($800 for both) 8 or so years ago, which was a good deal then, but seeing these things go for so much now is surprising. Probably the Tariff and general inflation, but pretty stark increase. But this is definitely a good deal for today regardless though

You're supporting unionized labor at Whirlpool and tariffs to compete with those Chaebols Samsung and LG who use cheap labor from Mexico.

??? Haven't heard about this. Do tell...

Had horrible experience with Samsung refrigerator myself. $1100 fridge was placed on the curb after 18 months. Lesson learned.....no more Samsung appliances for me.

Have had good luck with LG washer and dryer though.

Please go to LG website. Choose both models and select compare. Apart from couple of more cycles to choose from there did not appear practical difference between two

Almost all cycles can be manually configured if you know the settings or configuration associated with the cycles.

Built in AI feature is something that comes with 4000 series. So depending on how much you need it or will use it, you may want to choose 4000 model

I order an LG washer dryer from Bestbuy last month. I paid for installation and they have yet to do it. I have been calling them every week, and now I regret buying them. I can't install them myself, which is why I paid the extra for installation. Frown
