This deal still works if you have still have the product in your cart. And up until the product page became unavailable, the deal was not dead for anyone. I still have it in my cart and can even change the quantity(shipping remains just $35 even when ordering multiples) and the deal still applies.

Actually, the deal is not dead for anyone if a cart is shared. I confirmed this by opening the shared cart link and changing the zip code to a random one and creating a new account from the shared cart link and the deal stayed. Here is a shared cart link from the dummy account. Click on it and you can still get the $99 deal. You can order multiples at the same time and only pay the $35 shipping once.

Nice trick, this should be useful for other items in the future.
In any event, I did this yesterday as I had actually 2 in my cart but then I just ordered one. It is currently out for delivery today.

Has anyone already set it up and how do you like it?
I didn't have a chance open the box yet. Today, I bought some smoker wood chunks (mesquite and hickory) from Home Depot, and while I'm there I looked at the display model of it. I noticed this can be used with charcoal as well (I didn't know that Smilie).
One thing that got my attention was the bottom (where the grease accumulate) can't be cleaned easily I think…
Also, another concern of mine, will this go out (while using with propane) if the weather is windy?
